Police are appealing for witnesses or information related to a robbery in Plumstead.
At 11:45hrs on Thursday 17 February, a 60-year-old woman was walking along Flaxton Road SE18 with her two Pug dogs.
Two men approached her from behind and after a short struggle snatched one of her dogs.
Both suspects are described as dark Europeans, aged in their 20s. One man was wearing a black jacket and the other was wearing white trainers with a grey tracksuit and a sleeveless silver padded jacket. The pair drove off down Duncroft SE18, towards Swingate Lane.
The Pug they stole is 18 months old; it is micro-chipped and was wearing a black harness.
Investigating officer at Greenwich Robbery Squad, Detective Sergeant Keith Simmonett:
"We are keen to reunite the dog with its owner and I am appealing to members of the public to help us with our enquiries. Anyone with information should contact us immediately."
Anyone who can assist should call the Greenwich Robbery Squad on 020 8284 9411; if you wish to remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
